What is The Tuition Project?
Keeping Nigerian Students in School
The Tuition Project (TTP) is a grassroots initiative dedicated to ensuring that no Nigerian undergraduate is forced to drop out of university due to financial constraints. Founded on the belief that education is a fundamental right, not a privilege, we mobilize collective action to transform individual struggles into collective victories.
Every year, thousands of talented Nigerian students abandon their dreams because they cannot afford tuition fees. These are not students who lack ability or ambition—they lack resources. The Tuition Project bridges this gap by crowdfunding tuition support directly to students through their university bursaries.
- Direct Impact: 100% of donations go directly to university bursaries—no middlemen, no deductions.
- Student-Centered: We verify every beneficiary through faculty executives and partner organizations.
- Transparent: Every naira is accounted for with regular updates and impact reports to donors.
- Community-Driven: Small contributions from many people create life-changing opportunities for students.
Our model is simple: 5,000 people contributing ₦1,000 each can keep 50 students in school for a semester. This is the power of collective action—proof that when we come together, no dream is too big, and no student is left behind.

The Africa Creative Fund is an initiative of TIDE, dedicated to funding and developing mechanisms and systems that provides financial support, mentorship, and strategic guidance to creative entrepreneurs and innovative projects across Africa. We recognize that access to capital remains one of the biggest barriers to creative and entrepreneurial success on the continent.
Through strategic partnerships, funding initiatives, and community programs, Africa Creative Fund works to remove barriers that prevent young Africans from achieving their full potential. Education is the cornerstone of all our work.
